Very Helpful

Monique was very professional and thorough. The cost of the hearing aids was ridiculous and only having one brand with one price was unheard of and quite frankly made the entire experience a waste of my time.

I brought my Mother for a hearing test and to adjust her hearing aids. Found out that her hearing aids were not adjust right from the previous person which was all about money: but Monique show us how to update the hearing aids also help patiently showing us how to use them right. Thank you so much for your patience and your exceptional service. I also like to thank the receptionist at the front desk. Everyone at this office was courteous, pleasant and helpful. Charlie cleaned my hearing aids, gave me a thorough hearing test and adjusted my hearing aids so I can hear better. He clearly explained everything to me. I highly recommend Charlie and this office. Everyone is a professional.

I came in with my husband and my mom, and we all were blown away with the care. My husband is legally blind and my mom is 91 and hard of hearing. We had a wonderful experience, and the tests went quickly and efficiently. Never tried to sell us items we did not need, and though my mom is hesitant about hearing aids, they didn't push and just explained all she is missing to us all. We ended up getting none, but trying to convince my mom how good they would be for her, so hopefully, he will be coming back soon!

The Dr spent a lot of time with us , explained the graph and the hearing loss. Went over the options and explained the differences in hearing aids , even experienced what the difference was in hearing by putting an aid in .

Brought my dad in for hearing aids Met at the door by Sweet and Friendly Jessica who b offered to make us coffee and then Dr Brown. The doctor invited me to come in room with my dad which was very welcoming ! The office environment is relaxing and professional! We e we ill recommend to all our family and friends!

This is a year and a half being with Hear Michigan and, I have received a warm welcome and great service each time I've come in. Questions answered and explained so that I understand.

Excellent service very informative first experience with hearing aids highly recommend this office. Audiologist and receptionist first rate.

The hear technician and office personnel were very nice and treated me with respect. The appointment was completed within an hour and I received my test results immediately. Made sure that I understood my options with regards to hearing devices. I felt very comfortable and would recommend them to anyone who needs their hearing tested.

I've always had great service at Hear Michigan Center, Livonia. However, there is no consistency with calling prior to an appointment or keeping the same employees, both the audiologist and reception staff. The office on Five Mile in Livonia has probably changed audiologists and reception staff at least twice every six months. Every appointment I have, they've had turnover with a new audiologist and reception staff.

My sister took our mother for a test. Mom is 96 yrs.old. My sister said the staff was so friendly

Dr. Brown and the receptionist Jessica were professional and helpful. Dr Brown was knowledgeable in correcting hearing loss and patient. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I both go here and have experienced excellent service from the kind and helpful people at this hearing center. They were even able to assist my husband with hearing aids that stop his tinnitus while he is wearing them!

This is a horrible place. Do not go here with an elderly person. They have had my momu2019s hearing aids for 12 days. It has had a huge negative impact on her mental and emotional health.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. The staff was friendly, kind and made my day. A part that I was worried would cost an arm and a leg didnt. I left there smiling ear to ear knowing I will enjoy my next appointment where they will do a hearing evaluation at no cost. I have ears again!!! Today was full of surprises. While on my way to my appointment at the place where I had purchased my hearing aid the check it. I received a phone call from a number and business that I did not recognize. Since the word "hearing" was in the name I answered. Good thing I did. Theresa [hope I spelled that correctly, I apologize if I did not] called me to make certain I had been notified that the program/company that I had used was no longer located at the Novi, MI address. When she discovered that I hadn't been notified and was on my way to the appointment but was willing to reschedule for her location; she checked to see when she would have an opening. Turned out that she could squeeze me in at 2:15pm today. Or she could schedule me for another day. As I wasn't that far away and had plenty of time to get there. I took her up on the 2:15pm appointment. I also asked if she had three different items in stock. She said she would check. If she did she would have them ready for me. Once I arrived I was a little early and had time to look from my parking spot at the other businesses around her location. It turned out I drove by there every once and a while but never really saw what was located on that corner. It is located near a family member's house. I called just to let her know I was there early. Theresa told me she was helping someone and instructed me to wait until 2:15pm then drive up in front of the business. I took the time to take pictures of 3 of the businesses right by her that looked interesting so I would have the info to look them up online later. Then it was time to meet Theresa in person and get my hearing aid checked. She walked out to the car, introduced herself and took my hearing aid back inside to check it. I waited just a few moments. She brought my hearing aid back and the items she had on hand for me. I was amazed that she had several of the small disks with beads to keep moisture out of your charging base. I wasn't able to ever get any from the other location. She even had a few cleaning wipes to substitute for the cleaning spray that she did not have in stock yet. I paid for my items. She went back inside and took care of that then brought my receipt back outside to me. Through it all Theresa was pleasant, professional, and kind. She saved me from wasting a trip and a chunk of my day. Because if her thoughtfulness to check to see if the company had remembered to reschedule my appointment for another day and another location it led me to find a few businesses that I am also going to check out and another new & used bookstore (The Book Connection). I really appreciate that Theresa took the time to help me. This is a horrible place. Do not go here! The hearing aids have never worked correctly. Now they sent them away for repair and we are on the 12th day. It is a horrible and frightening experience for my mom who is also legally blind. This experience has had a huge negative impact on my mom's dementia. I'm not sure she can recover.

This has been such an exciting experience for me. I have been deaf in my left ear for over 10 years now. Teresa was great and the whole process has been quite easy and enjoyable. Yesterday I got the CROS Pure Charge&Go x transmitter and the Pure Charge&Go 3x by Signia and it is amazing how well I can hear sounds from my lift side. Cried happy tears.

Dr Anita Altschul is very knowledegeable on the hearing system and the hearing aids and service are a good value. Better hearing has made it easier for me to interact with people.

My mother had been experiencing noticeable hearing loss for a few years but had been reluctant to seek out help, since she's notoriously stubborn and it's difficult to convince her to do anything out of her routine anyway. I enlisted the help of a friend of hers to help me sell her on the idea, and she recommended Dr. Altschul to us, who had fitted her with her hearing aids. Well, we finally got my mom to agree to an appointment, so I went with her. My mom made it pretty well known that she didn't want to be there and was skeptical about the whole thing, but Dr. Altschul was patient, courteous, and friendly, and took the time to listen to her concerns and before I knew it, she had actually convinced my mom to let her run some tests. Long story short, she walked out of there the happy owner of a pair of hearing aids that she was 100% convinced she was not going to buy when we walked in and now weeks later she's very glad she went, and says "they've changed her life." That might be a tad dramatic because she still spend 90% of her time gardening and watching PBS, but now at a reasonable volume. At any rate, she's happier and made me write this review for Dr. Altschul, whose help I apparently need to seek because she may be the only person in the world able to talk my mom into learning to use the internet so she can write these reviews herself.
